This brown three seater recliner sofa Had lots of colour loss covering the seats and headrests. This is caused from the body oils reacting with the leather. Consequently it removes the colour. Firstly the technician cleans the recliner sofa. This is done using leather cleaner and a lint free cloth. After this the technician uses leather prep. Similarly this is done using a lint free cloth. This removes the manufacturers coating on the recliner sofa.
Now that the sofa is cleaned the technician begins to apply leather dye to the brown recliner sofa. This is applied using an air compressor. Thin layers of dye are applied. Then they are dried using a hairdryer. Once they are dried the technician then applies a coat of lacquer. This is to seal and protect the restoration. After the restoration has been completed the sofa needs to be left for at least 1 hour until it is dry enough to touch if the customer wishes to have a closer look at the work however we do not recommend it if you can help it. The sofa should then not be used for approximately 48 hours depending on how much colour and is applied during the process.
