Jacket Leather Repairs
Here are some pictures from a few of our leather jacket repairs. Firstly is a sheep skin pilots jacket that had a tear in it that we repaired. We also replaced a buckle that had ripped off of it. Secondly there was a jacket that was suffering from severe colour loss. To the point the jacket had almost faded into a completely different colour. Some of the jacket leather repairs we undertake are buckle repairs and replacements. Also we restore colour loss on both jackets and coats. We repair tears and holes and cigarette burns too. There’s lots more too. All you need to do is send us a picture of the damage on your jacket. We can provide you with a free quote to get it repaired.
We complete all of our leather jacket repairs in our workshop. Our technicians use My Hermes courier collection service to pick up the parcels from you. They then deliver them to us. We complete the repair and send pictures to the customer. If they are happy with the repair then they make payment. Then we arrange to have the parcel returned. This is again using My Hermes courier collection service.
The leather restoration that is carried out follows the same process as a leather sofa or leather car seat restoration. It is cleaned and prepped. After this the colour is applied in evenly thin spread layers. Lastly a layer of lacquer is applied in order to seal the restoration.
