A leather repairs customer requested a freshen-up of their BMW X5 car seats.

The technician begins to clean the seats to restore car leather seat. This is done using a leather cleaner on a lint-free cloth.
Once the seats are completely cleaned removing all the dirt the technician moves on.
They begin to prep the seats using leather prep and another lint-free cloth.
Now that the seats are cleaned the technician matches the colour of the seats and begins to spray them using an airbrush.
The technician applies evenly spread coats of the leather dye for the car service.

After Completion

Once the seats have been coloured the technician moves on. The technician then applies the final layer onto the BMW X5 seats, this is of the lacquer which is used to seal the seat. After completion the seat needs to be left for at least 1 hour until it is dry enough to touch if the customer wishes to have a closer look at the repair however we do not recommend it if you can help it. The area should then not be used for approximately 48 hours depending on how much colour is applied during the process of the restoration.
