Leather cleaning Dartford includes a deep cleaning service. We use leather cleaner and a scrubbing brush. The use of the scrubbing brush is to bring all of the dirt out of the grain of the leather. Cleaning is conducted panel by panel. Firstly the leather cleaner is sprayed onto the panel. Secondly the scrubbing brush is used in circular motions the leather. Next the technician uses a cloth to wipe the excess cleaner and dirt from the leather. After the panel is clean the technician moves onto the next panel. This process is repeated over and over again until all of the panels on the sofa have been scrubbed clean.
In the above images it shows how leather cleaning dartford cleaning differs from a dirty sofa. As you can see the panels that haven’t yet been cleaned have a dirty grain. Once the leather has been cleaned it appears as new again. However should the sofa have colour loss areas a clean and colour restoration would be needed to restore the areas.
On going maintenance
We advise that all leather is cleaned and protected every six months this allows the leather to stay clean and fresh and the protection cream gives that extra barrier between the wear and tear and the sofa.
Cleaning kits are always recommended after every repair to help enable you to maintain your leather from future damage, please feel free to ask our technician any questions where they will be happy to give you any help and guidance that you require.
