The cleaning of leather can be a rather hard process and not as simple as wiping over the leather. We have worked along side many Carpet Cleaning companies which offer this as a service. We can assure you our results are extremely different. Most carpet cleaning companies are brand loyal and will buy the leather cleaner from their local supplier not being aware of other cleaning products where as we are leather specialist. However, we are fully aware of what leather cleaners will clean certain types of leather and which problems they will resolve.
(Case Study) Here we have a 50/50 shot of a Leather Footstool in Lordswood, Kent. This shows one side that has been deep cleaned and shows the other side with the dirt and grime build up is still visible. With leather, the dirt and grime builds up over time and, before you know it, the colour of your leather has completely changed from its original colour. What a difference a full clean has made o this footstool, giving this customers furniture a new lease of life! The option will always be cheaper than having to replace furniture.
Range Rover Evoke
This customer’s Range Rover seat bolster area has a build up of dye transfer which has come from their clothing. This has built up over a period of time to what you can now see in the photo taken.
The customer did not want the whole seat cleaned as they wanted to keep the costs down. They just requested the bolster area to be cleaned with stain remover. As a result, we did advise in this case that the whole seat should be done. We advise this so we could protect the whole seat afterwards. To help prevent this from happening again.
The seat was deep cleaned using our strong antibacterial cleaner. This reaches deep in to the grain pulling out all the ground in dirt from the grain of the leather. Once the areas are fully cleaned, we can then start to work on the dye transfer removal process. For this, we use a solvent stain remover which needs to be done in stages. This is because we do not want to damage the leather by only removing the stains.
Once the stains have been removed we are able to apply a nice coat of leather protection cream. This is to help protect the leather.
