This Audi leather car seat had a burst seam on the driver’s seat bolster. Our technician arrived at the customer’s house to Repair car leather seat. The technician uses a curved needle and extra strong leather cotton to sew up the seam. This is done using the holes that are already in the leather from the seam previously being sewn up. Similarly, new holes are made by the technician where necessary. Whilst sewing the burst seam back together the technician continuously pulls the cotton tight. This is to ensure that the cotton is holding the leather together. Also ensuring that the cotton is not seen in the seam.
After Completion

We advise that all leather is cleaned and protected every six months. This allows the leather to stay clean and fresh. The protection cream gives that extra barrier between the wear and tear and the leather. Therefore preventing most damage from occurring. However, this does not include burst seams.
