Clearly the seat is collapsed specifically to the rear right hand side.

This is because the webbing underneath the chair is snapped. Due to the webbing being snapped underneath there is nothing to support the foam inside the cushion. Therefore when the cushion was sat on the Cambridgeshire customer fell into a hole.

In order to repair the Cambridgeshire collapsed seat cushion the technician must flip the chair over.
Once the Cambridgeshire chair is flipped the technician will remove two of the feet from the chair. Typically this would be the two at the bottom. (When the chair is right way up this would be the front two feet).
Next the technician would use a staple remover tool to lift all the staples on the bottom of the chair going across the front and up both sides.
Now that all the staples are lifted the technician will go along with pliers and remove the staples completely.
As a result of the staples being removed the dust cover is now able to be lifted to reveal the inside of the chair.

As you can tell from the picture the webbing is snapped and stretched.
In order to gain access to the webbing the technician will use a drill with the correct size drill bit to remove the bolts from the top and sides of the seating section of the chair.
Since the bolts have been removed the seating area of the chair will now be removable from the rest of the frame.
Using the same tools and technique as before the technician will remove all staples along the top and sides of the seating unit to remove the seating cover.
After the seating cover is peeled back the technician will lift the foam from the webbing. This may require a little force as the foam can get stuck to the webbing over time.
Next the technician will remove the staples (again using the same tools and technique as before) from the ends of the webbing.
Once all the webbing is removed the technician will supply and fit new webbing.
Using a roll of webbing the technician will place the end of the roll on one end of the seating unit. This will be secured using staples. Specifically the technician will use a staple gun.
Following the pattern of where the webbing has just been removed from the technician will thread the webbing through to where it’s supposed to sit.
They will then pull this extremely tight so that it is firm and then staple where it sits to ensure it’s secure.
The technician will then use upholstery scissors to cut the webbing from the roll.
This process is then repeated until all of the webbing is fitted as per where it was removed from.

The Cambridgeshire seat cushion is now no longer collapsing.
In this particular case the Cambridgeshire customer didn’t wish to have the seat base cushion re padded.
However from the picture you can see that there’s still a slight dip in that back corner.
Having the seat base cushion re padded would have reinforced the foam in the seat and taken the pressure off of the webbing.
Unfortunately the seat base cushion needing padding would have been what caused the webbing to stretch and snap initially.
